Special To Exceptional Wedding Party Supplies
The wedding ceremony is supposed to be romantic and magical but the wedding party is supposed to be fun. After the formalities everyone gets to let their hair down and mingle and chat with friends and family they may not have seen before or for a long time. Excitement for the bride and groom can be felt in the special, party atmosphere.
When you plan your wedding party, as well as deciding on the venue you have to organise all of things that you will need there, in other words the wedding party supplies. This will include the catering supplies, such as food, tables, chairs and the like if you are not having the party at a hotel of other function center, as well as the decorations and the entertainment for the evening.
Party planning is a time consuming task so do not let the wedding party details get lost and forgotten about in the preparations for the rest of the big day.
Wedding venues that are not catered
If you are holding your wedding party at your home or in another location such as a community center that is not geared to providing food, you will need to organise these supplies yourself. Renting items such as tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery and glasses is usually the best way to go. You then need to organise a caterer and ensure they have the necessary equipment to work with. If your wedding venue is an outdoor location, you will need some form of marquee, lighting and possibly even flooring.

Decorations
If you are having a themed wedding then the theme from your wedding ceremony should flow through to the wedding party. If however, your ceremony is more traditional, you could choose to make the party a little more quirky by coming up with a theme. Decorations will be needed for the venue and the tables and they should all tie in. Typically flowers, candles, balloons and fabric bows are used to give decorative touches, all in matching or contrasting colors.
Entertainment
Common wedding reception party supplies include some form of entertainment. This could run from a band to a disco to a wedding singer. They will need to be pre-booked and all of the supplies that they need will have to be arranged. You need to ensure your venue has enough room for a dance floor as well as a good deal of power sockets for the electrical equipment.
As an addition to musical entertainment you may want to host some party games. There are a variety that are appropriate for wedding parties and they can add a unique twist on other receptions.
A further wedding party supply that you might not think about but should get around to organising is learning a special dance for your first dance as bride and groom. Will you try and learn the famous Dirty Dancing dance or go for something more traditional? Either way a few lessons or at least some practice may not go amiss.

Wedding favors
Finally you need to organise the token of thanks that you give to your guests, aka the wedding favors. The wedding favor should also serve as a reminder of what a great time the guests had at your party so if your budget can afford it, be dazzling. If your wedding has a theme, trendy wedding favours usually follow that theme. Other ideas range from the cute key chain, to the sweet chocolate box to the more long term reminder of a seedling in a small flower pot.
